About Me
- Favorite Medium: paintings
- Statement: My My most recent paintings reflect my pleasure in nature's forms and colors. Iridescent abalone shells, the Australian rain forest, and a cottonwood tree illuminated by brilliant sunrise have all found their way into this recent work. Most larger paintings are acrylic on canvas or panel; my smaller work with watercolor is ongoing.A small series of Numinous Women were inspired by visits to prehistoric sites dedicated to the earth goddess in Malta. Earlier series of paintings were involved with spiritual concerns. Abstract images with colorful, loosely geometric shapes were derived from meditations on divine energy.
