Statement: My graphics work embodies a wide-range of cultural images from the past, the present and the future, once it has been observed as a cultural reality. Inasmuch as my aim as an artist is to essentially comment through my work on the social, cultural and political manifestations of what is referred to as the human condition, I have therefore considered my work to be 'head-pieces', graphic ideas that present my slant and viewpoint.Moreover, since I am a European by birth and temperament, I've long admired and articulated the surreal and the avant-garde. Consequently, as filtered through my mind and seen through my eye, my graphic messages rely on the comic and absurd, the traditional and the modern to address the goings-on in my lifetime.My work can therefore be considered a narrative history of ideas as a contemporary response to what I have observed and experienced.In use of color. As in music, the melodies engendered by Beethoven, Debussy, Gershwin and others reflect the tonal impressions of the times. Similarily, my paintings are mood impressions as their sole statement. It is therefore the viewer of my work who can best reflect on what they believe I've conveyed
