Statement: My work is representational and I enjoy working in a variety of media, including pastels, oils, graphite, and pen and ink. I particularly enjoy drawing as I find the challenge of depicting a three dimensional subject on a two dimensional surface to be very satisfying. Subject matter comes from what I see around me...local landscapes, and studies of plant and animal life.Art has meaning for me as an expression of love, and I enjoy sharing the joy that went into each work's creation with the viewer.
