- Favorite Medium: paintings
- Statement: James Marc has been a painting and print making artist full-time since 1976. He lives and works in San Rafael, California. His work has been labeled surrealist, realist and semi-abstracted. The subject matter has been primarily the natural world, trees, hearts, root systems, skies, birds, scarabs, etc. singularly and in any number of combinations. He uses these natural elements in his descriptions of the inner world.
