Favorite Medium: paintings
Statement: I work from my imagination. Using oil as a medium, I paint on canvas whatever idealistic forms come to my mind. I've taken art classes in New England and have worked with acrylics, painting real or ideal life. Now my subject matter is fantasy animals with backgrounds or preferred habitats. Sketches on paper are the essential elements in my progress. Other times I just take a brush and sketch right onto the canvas. I then put together the images, involving vividness of hue, until I finally reveal a creature. To me it is leisure to escape reality by exploring my inner self.
