exhibits the work of living visual artists, announces their shows and provides contact information.The AOV website was designed to encourage art appreciation and educate the public though face-to-face contact with visual artists. Visitors to the studios of a broad array of diverse artist are enriched by this contact, artists are benefited by the increased audience for their work and community ties are strengthened.

AOV’S Artist Directory

provides background and contact data on AOV's talented artists and displays their artwork. AOV's Art Organization Directory sets out information for contacting local art organizations who can provide you with insight into local art scenes. AOV's Current Art Shows Directory provides details on art exhibitions of AOV's artists. Using these tools art lovers can create a "meet the artist" itinerary for vacation or home town use.

Why Artwork on View®?

One hundred percent of your tax-deductible contribution to AOV is used to pay its out-of-pocket expenses. Volunteers perform all daily work and AOV's artists pay only a small annual fee which does not cover AOV's expenses. Since AOV exacts no commission from its participating artists on sales triggered by website display of their work, the balance needed to sustain AOV's operations is covered by donations.
